Parole Suitability Hearings
I provide powerful, highly prepared representation in parole suitability hearings, with a focus on presenting each client in the strongest possible light before the Board. These cases demand more than appearances—they require strategy, credibility, and a compelling record of rehabilitation, insight, and readiness for release. I work closely with clients and families to build a persuasive case with care, precision, and relentless advocacy.
Criminal Defense
(Misdemeanors, Felonies, DUIs, Domestic Violence, etc.)
When you are facing criminal charges, the stakes are immediate and personal. I deliver strong, strategic defense designed to protect your rights, your freedom, and your future, while guiding you through the process with clarity and respect. My approach is both aggressive in the courtroom and grounded in the trust, responsiveness, and personal attention every client deserves.
Workers’ Compensation
(Applicant and Defense)
I represent clients in workers’ compensation matters with a practical, results-driven approach shaped by experience on both the applicant and defense side. From entity formation to asset sales and day-to-day legal strategy, I provide high-level counsel that is both practical and decisive. Clients rely on me for trusted guidance, sharp judgment, and a steady legal partner as they build and grow their business.
Parole Readiness Audit
(best first step)
Clarity, priorities, and a plan — without committing to full representation.
The Readiness Audit is designed for families who want to know: Where are we strong? Where are we vulnerable? What should we do next?
What you receive:
- A Structured Decision-Making (SDM) Readiness Scorecard across the key readiness domains
- A clear Top 3 priority list (highest leverage items to address first)
- A written 90-day roadmap with deliverables you can document
- Timeline planning that accounts for the packet deadline (arrive ≥ 15 days pre-hearing)
Best for: cases where you want a professional plan before deciding on Sprint or Full Representation.
Hearing Prep Sprint
(focused push)
Close the biggest gaps fast.
The Sprint is a structured, time-limited engagement focused on the few issues most likely to drive the decision. It is built for cases where the hearing is approaching and the work must be prioritized.
What you receive:
- CRA alignment strategy (translate CRA needs into concrete deliverables)
- Intensive refinement of the insight narrative and credibility themes
- Management plans and relapse/maintenance planning counseling (as relevant)
- Packet/letter strategy with structured review and edits
- Mock Q&A and “hard question” preparation
- A timing plan anchored to packet arrival ≥ 15 days pre-hearing
Best for: hearings within roughly 30–120 days, or cases with a specific “gap” that must be closed quickly.
Full Representation
(end-to-end)
Ongoing preparation and representation through the hearing.
Full Representation is for clients who want long-range structure and advocacy through the hearing itself, including ongoing document development, preparation, and coordination.
What you receive:
- Strategy + preparation cadence (monthly/biweekly as needed)
- Comprehensive record review (C-file/master file/10-day file as applicable)
- Development of packet materials: insight writing, management plans, parole plan narrative, reentry planning
- Family/support coordination guidance (letters, housing support, community supports)
- Hearing preparation + representation and contingency planning
- Packet readiness managed around the deadline (arrive ≥ 15 days pre-hearing)
Best for: complex histories, credibility concerns, significant CRA needs, or when consistent structure over time is the priority.
Packet Review + Family Support
A focused option for families who want professional guidance.
This service is for people who do not need full representation but want their packet and support materials to be credible, organized, and aligned with what the Board expects.
What you receive:
- Packet review and prioritized edits (what matters most first)
- Support-letter guidance (what helps, what hurts, and how to write effectively)
- Reentry support planning (housing, employment, treatment, community supports)
- A checklist and timing plan to meet packet arrival ≥ 15 days pre-hearing
Best for: family-led preparation, or cases where the incarcerated person has already drafted substantial materials.
Sex Offense Readiness Track
(when applicable)
Treatment-aligned preparation for cases where sexual self-regulation is central.
This track supplements Audit/Sprint/Full Representation with sex-offense-specific preparation planning.
What you receive:
- Specialized readiness addendum scorecard + roadmap
- Documentable self-help programming strategy (inside + correspondence options, as available)
- Offense-cycle mapping and a written sex offense management plan
- Victim awareness/impact integration and treatment posture planning
- Continuity planning for release (including identification of appropriate community providers and realistic conditions planning)
Best for: cases where the CRA or record emphasizes sexual self-regulation or treatment continuity.
